Reserve your art installation site for Art in the Miners Park 2017

Art in the Miners Park 2017 site selection: Sun, Nov 20, 1 pm: Ayer Street Trailhead.

Looks like a nice afternoon to walk a snowy Miners Park!

Stop by anytime after Sunday 1 pm to pick up a trail map, a reservation stake, and claim a site for 2017’s Art on the Miners Park exhibition. Reservations will continue until we max out sites, probably next spring.

Art in the Miners Park 2017 is an outdoor/public art exhibition on a one mile walking loop in Ironwood’s Miners Memorial Heritage Park.

Art in the Miners Park 2017 opens June 24th, 2017.

Last year, Art in the Miners Park hosted approximately 2,000 visitors and awarded $2500 in prizes.

Call for Artists, Art in the Miners Park 2017

Art in the Miners Park 2017 artist site selection begins Sunday, November 20, 1 pm at the Ayer Street Trailhead (marking stakes & maps will be available) & continues through spring.

An outdoor/public art exhibition on a one mile walking loop in the Miners Park. 

AitMP 2017 opens June 24th, 2017.

Mushroom Hike, Saturday, October 8

If you are interested in mushrooms and would like a good walk — you’ll enjoy what Alan Lawrence has planned for Saturday, October 8 at 10am.

He plans to take those who show up at the Miners Park trailhead on Ayer St at 10am on a merry search for interesting fungii.

Talkoot – June 9, 2016 – Art in the Miners Park Trail

Two trailers, a front end loader and nine people. The Art in the Miners Park trail is about 1/3rd chipped. We concentrated on the trails were the sun doesn’t shine.

Our National Trails Day project.  (Rescheduled after last week’s rainy Saturday.)
